Associate Professor Iwona Szymusik, MD, PhD
Graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. Initially employed at the 1st Department of Obstetric and Gynecology, Medical University of Warsaw, where she also began her work in infertility. Currently employed as a professor at the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education.
She received her PhD in 2009 – doctoral thesis regarded IVF pregnancies. In 2012 she became a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology and in 2017 in reproductive medicine. In the meantime in 2010 she completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Rush University Medical Center and Women’s Health Consultants in Chicago. Since 2018 she has been a Medical Director at Gameta Warsaw Infertility Clinic, where she is leading a team of medical professionals. Her research concentrates on infertility, fertility preservation, endometriosis and perinatal medicine issues, particularly related to multiple pregnancies
