Dr Miklós Sipos

Dr. Miklós Sipos graduated from the Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest in 1993.

He started his career at the 2nd Departmnet of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University, where he  obtained his qualification at obstetrics and gynecology in 1998.

In 1998 he earned an MSc degree on Health Care Financing.

Between 2003-2019, he worked at the Forgács Intézet Reproduction Center as deputy director.

In 2019, he was invited to Semmelweis University to design, build and manage the new complex assisted reproduction center, of which he has been the director ever since. The institute quickly became one of the leading patient care, training and scientific centers in Hungarian assisted reproduction.

In 2023 he got a PhD degree, his thesis was about the gender specific effect of Vitamin-D on renal and carotid arteries.

In 2023, Dr. Sipos was asked to become the chairman of the Section of Human Reproduction of the College of Health Professionals (scientific advisory board of the hungarian government).

From 2024, he holds the position of president of the Reproductive Medicine Board of Semmelweis University, within the framework of which his task is to organize and lead the training programme in reproductive medicine in the central region.

He is a leading lecturer in graduate and postgraduate programmes on the medical and pharmaceutical faculty of Semmelweis University.

He is a Phd supervisor and guides several PhD students scientific work to succeed a PhD degree.

He is a regular lecturer at domestic and international conferences.

His working group is engaged in active scientific publication activities.

His professional interests are the reproductive effects of vitamin D, the therapeutic possibilities of reduced ovarian reserve (special stimulation protocols and rejuvenation techniques), fertility preservation, PCOS, FSH receptor, health financing and controlling.
